Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO)

Course Objective:
This course is designed to:

1.  Ensure safe take off and landing conditions for a helicopter in an offshore installation
2.  Intimate the participants on the various safety equipment  used in the helicopter and checks to determine if they are in good working condition.
3.  Enlighten the participants on the various signaling and communication systems for helicopter take off and landing.
4.  Enable participants to identify dangerous goods, load limit of the helicopter, methods of helicopter refueling, e.t.c.
5.  Identification of various parts of a helicopter and  their functions including the different helicopter types.
